What could have attracted a prominent Indigenous film maker, with a record of documentaries on burning Indigenous issues across Canada to the story of a McGill prof, dismissed for his unorthodox teaching methods — such as inviting students to sing “We don’t need no education! We don’t need no thought control! Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone…” from Pink Floyd’s once super-famous The Wall, AND share what makes them feel so good about that?
